Planning for an orchestral session with Ian Brown in the New Year. Some great songs to get stuck into. The opening of Spring Awakening was incredible and the reviews were even more so. It looks like it’s going to have a long and successful run. Did some more work for Madness for their upcoming release. Even ended up performing on a TV with them on violin!!
Attended the opening night of Spring Awakening at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Broadway. An amazing buzz to see your name on a poster outside and to hear the charts that we recorded for the cast album played live. Not to mention that they get played 8 times a week!!

Currently working on an album with Jon Kelly (Kate Bush, Deacon Blue, The Beautiful South, Beulah) and we recorded rhythm section with the wonderful Ralph Salmins, Steve Pearce and John Paricelli. Good to back behind the keyboards (Piano, Rhodes. Wurlitzer & Hammond) as well as MD-ing & arranging. Some keyboard overdubs too then planning for strings.

I’ve been in Paris a couple of times to work on a new CD for Universal Music France. Co-producing, playing and arranging so a lot to get stuck into...

It's getting close to the opening night of Spring Awakening www.springawakening.com/ This is such an exciting show and it's fantastic to be involved in it, especially as it's with Duncan Sheik www.duncansheik.com/ again. Now 10 years we've been working together and always the greatest pleasure for me.

Jamiroquai www.jamiroquai.co.uk are out there again promoting their greatest hits and we did a live broadcast last week that proved what an amazing live act they are. I had to dig out all the old scores from the first album we did together and also discovered they were from 1996. Time flies but that was quite a year!

Jamiroquai recorded a show for the upcoming series “Live from Abbey Road” which looks fantastic. I ended up playing/programming & orchestrating the title music with Peter Van Hooke as a result.
